Halloween 2005

Halloween is one of Matthew's favourite times of year. He likes the candy, but he really loves the decorations and getting dressed up. This year EA's Halloween party was done in the new underground parking lot and had a lot of new activities for the kids. It was darker and spookier but very crowded and they had some logistical issues with the food. If you don't mind crowds it was a cool party.

This is the spin art that Matthew made at the EA Halloween party.

We also went to the annual Stanley Park Ghost Train. This year was similar to others. The biggest difference being my new camera so that I could take some decent pictures in the dark.

Matthew had another spectacular Halloween party. It is the party of the season and anyone who is anyone is invited. We really decorate our house for Halloween. So much so that many children are afraid to come to our door (more candy for me).

Matthew had a couple of costumes this year. He wore his vampire costume for his Halloween party but went out trick-or-treating as Darth Vader. He would be much more threatening without the jack-o-lantern bucket.

We made some pretty cool pumpkins this year. We download patterns and make some of our own. Guess which ones we made ourselves.
