Abbotsford Air Show

Matthew and I went to the Abbotsford Air Show. Neither of us had been before. Jocelyn had, and once was enough for her.
We missed the Snowbirds but were in time to see a couple of shows, including the USAF Thunderbirds.
It was a very hot day to be standing around on a runway. Fortunately, the big planes bring their own shade. We were sitting in the shadow of the tail section when I took this picture of people under this wing. There were even people under the body of the planes. Anything to stay out of the sun.
Jets go fast. They would fly off in one direction and come back from another. It was hard to tell where they were coming from, but very easy to see where they had been.
After using the C5-Galaxy as shade we took a tour around inside and upstairs to the cockpit. That plane is freakin' huge!
